In addition to sponsoring numerous events during the year, 
our Museum takes an active part in a variety of community events.

Our Next Event




  July 4th Held on the Saturday of the holiday weekend (July 5th this year) , activities include a Hometown Parade, fireworks, concerts. model boat races and the Museum's annual Small Boat Show, plus demonstrations by local waterman.

The Hometown Parade comes right down Main Street

Watching the Hometown Parade from the front porch 
is the highlight of many family reunions.
  Small Boat Show -  Our Museum sponsors this annual event in conjuction with the July 4th activities. 
 Entries are accepted up to 20'.

RFM Oyster Roast - November 2003


 
The 14th Annual RFM Oyster Roast will take place in early November  2003.
Watch for the announcement.

 


Christmas on Cockrell's Creek
For the past nine years one of the highlights of the Christmas season is the RFM's Christmas on Cockrell's Creek celebration.  Many of the fine homes in Reedville and surrounds are open for candlelight tours. 
Watch for announcements of the 2003 event.
